Rebecca joins at an exciting point in the development of Vanguard Life Sciences, as we continue to build on the Group’s experience of delivering complex infrastructure in highly regulated environments and apply that expertise to the pharmaceutical, biotechnology and research sectors.
She brings extensive experience across strategy, transformation, innovation, governance and operational leadership. Rebecca joins Vanguard following seven years with Specsavers Group, including more than four years as Managing Director of Newmedica, where she led the growth and development of one of the UK’s leading providers of specialist eye care.
Rebecca also brings experience from senior roles with Specsavers and ASDA, following an earlier career with KPMG.
Launched in 2026, Vanguard Life Sciences extends the Group’s expertise in modern methods of construction into advanced cleanroom, laboratory and containment environments.
Working with organisations across the pharmaceutical, biotechnology and research sectors, Vanguard Life Sciences provides specialist infrastructure designed to meet the requirements of complex and regulated environments, with a focus on quality, speed and flexibility.

As Group CEO, Rebecca will lead Vanguard Life Sciences alongside Vanguard Healthcare Solutions and the Group’s international healthcare operations through Q-bital Healthcare Solutions.
Her appointment comes as Vanguard Life Sciences continues to establish its presence within the sector and develop solutions that combine specialist technical expertise with the benefits of modern methods of construction.
