Modular Aseptic & Radiopharmacy Facility EU GMP Grade C/D Cleanrooms

The facility consists of modules which were manufactured off-site and craned into place. This approach had the advantage of shortening and minimising works on-site while the addition of brick fascia to the modules meant the new extension blended well with the surrounding buildings.

New facilities accommodate the preparation and manufacture of chemotherapy, TPN, CIVA and nuclear medicines, and associated QC, assembly and check/release of critical medicines to the hospital. With Enbloc’s scope, we supplied and validated Radiopharmacy Isolators and Bioquell cube Aseptic dispensing Isolators.

The new facility provides the hospital with modern, flexible, well-designed accommodation, compliant with MHRA requirements and achieved an MHRA license for Aseptic manufacturing.
