Zelffinancierend zou de hub een snelle toename van electieve activiteit moeten leveren.<\/p>\n<p><strong>De resultaten (na het eerste jaar):<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Binnen zes weken na de overeenkomst om door te gaan, werd een Vanguard-operatiekamer in gebruik genomen, bemand door een Vanguard-klinisch team en verbonden met het ziekenhuis via een speciaal gebouwde gang. <\/p>\n<p>Resultaten in de volgende 12 maanden waren opmerkelijk. 1016 procedures, waaronder 910 gewrichtsvervangingen, werden uitgevoerd in de Vanguard-kamer. Door de mobiele operatiekamer Vanguard dicht bij de electieve afdelingen te plaatsen, werden optimale pati\u00ebntpaden mogelijk gemaakt. De mobiele operatiekamer zelf heeft een indeling die effici\u00ebntie toevoegt, waarbij de pati\u00ebnt rechtstreeks van de anesthesiekamer naar de operatiekamer naar de recovery-ruimte gaat, en vervolgens via een gang naar de zijkant, die de aangelegde gang terug naar de afdeling verbindt. <br \/>2)<strong> Prioritering van personeelsbetrokkenheid<\/strong>. Met deze indeling voelen chirurgen zich in hun eigen operatiekamers. Personeel, inclusief transport, pre-operatieve diensten en een aangewezen boekingsteam, werden ge\u00efntegreerd in de hub, waardoor hun pati\u00ebnten hun eigendom werden langs het zorgpad. De chirurgische hub heeft een positieve impact gehad op de werkomgeving. Verpleegkundigen geven de voorkeur aan een drukkere afdeling en het personeelsverloop is afgenomen sinds de opening van de Vanguard-operatiekamer.<br \/>Belangrijk voor het vergroten van de betrokkenheid waren:<br \/>\u25a0 Snelle installatie en ingebruikname van het Vanguard-theater en integratie van het Vanguard-klinische team. Kort na de opening merkte Harkamal Heran, Chief Operating Officer van de trust, op dat het Vanguard-klinische team geen aparte entiteit is. De hub en alle medewerkers functioneren als \u00e9\u00e9n samenhangende service.<br \/>\u25a0 Het promoten van de hub als een blijvende troef, waarin verder wordt ge\u00efnvesteerd als de doelstellingen worden gehaald.<br \/>\u25a0 Het inbedden van de &#039;cultuur van niet annuleren&#039;. <br \/>3) <strong>Optimalisatie van pati\u00ebntenpaden van en naar de Hub<\/strong>. Het boekingsteam belt pati\u00ebnten die bovenaan de wachtlijst staan en vraagt hen om snel te komen, ter voorbereiding op een vrijgekomen plek. Harkamal is verheugd dat de samenwerking tussen SWFT en Vanguard-personeel het gebruik heeft gemaximaliseerd: &quot;We hebben de afgelopen weken pati\u00ebnten gehad die zich niet goed voelden, maar we hebben een hele groep pati\u00ebnten die op korte termijn kunnen komen.
