Moduler blev bygget p\u00e5 fabrikken, mens nogle gasbeholdere p\u00e5 stedet blev flyttet til et nyt sted p\u00e5 tv\u00e6rs af vejen, og grundarbejdet blev afsluttet. Fordi fremstillingen af modulerne og forberedelsen af stedet foregik samtidig, blev afbrydelser af hospitalsaktiviteter og byggetid st\u00e6rkt reduceret. Da Trusten havde opstillet ambiti\u00f8se planer for projektet, installerede Vanguard mellem juni og december 2020 den modul\u00e6re byggefacilitet for at erstatte kapaciteten til interventionel radiologi, der g\u00e5r tabt under renoveringen, komplet med gulv- og loftmonteret Philips Biplane. Denne tilgang minimerede risiko s\u00e5vel som enhver &quot;afdrift&quot; i projektets tidslinje, noget der var afg\u00f8rende for at sikre, at anl\u00e6gget blev leveret til tiden og inden for budgettet.<\/p>\n<section id=\"section-2-254\" class=\"ct-section\" >\n<div class=\"ct-section-inner-wrap\">\n<div id=\"fancy_icon-5-254\" class=\"ct-fancy-icon\" ><svg id=\"svg-fancy_icon-5-254\"><use xlink:href=\"#FontAwesomeicon-quote-left\"><\/use><\/svg><\/div>\n<div id=\"text_block-3-254\" class=\"ct-text-block\" >\u201cDet blev anset for at v\u00e6re den eneste l\u00f8sning \u2013 at ans\u00e6tte et modul\u00e6rt laboratorium, mens man opgraderer det nuv\u00e6rende lokale og samtidig forpligte sig til at levere vores normale tjenester. Hvis vi ikke havde valgt denne l\u00f8sning, ville vi have v\u00e6ret n\u00f8dt til at reducere vores services. Vi har et hybridteater med kirurgerne, som vi kunne have brugt, men det ville have betydet en masse weekendarbejde, hvilket p\u00e5virkede moralen, afdelingerne og beredskabet.\u201d<\/div>\n<div id=\"text_block-4-254\" class=\"ct-text-block\" >Dr. Anup Mathew, konsulentinterventionsradiolog, Lancashire Teaching Hospitals NHS FT<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/section>\n<p><em>Da Trust the gen\u00e5bnede sit nyrenoverede interventionsradiologirum, identificerede det ogs\u00e5 en mulighed for at introducere en ny kapacitet i Integrated Care Board; neurokirurgi.<\/em><\/p>\n<\/p>\n<p><strong>2021 Neurokirurgisk teater<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Vanguard genbrugte det modul\u00e6re interventionsradiologirum, herunder forsegling af visningsvinduet og oprettelse af et kratomr\u00e5de i visningsrummet. Trust var i gang med at omplacere teatre p\u00e5 Royal Preston fra \u00f8jenmedicin til traumer og overf\u00f8rte oftalmologiske tjenester til Chorley og Ribble District Hospital, hvor et nyt \u00f8jencenter blev bygget. For at bygge bro mellem genform\u00e5let i Preston og \u00e5bningen af det nye \u00f8jencenter diskuterede Trust mulige l\u00f8sninger med Vanguard.<\/p>\n<p>Vanguard er enest\u00e5ende ved at kunne levere faciliteter med blandet modalitet, som problemfrit kombinerer mobile kirurgiske teatre med modul\u00e6re konstruktioner. Der blev bygget en korridor for at forbinde den oftalmiske hub til hovedhospitalet, og en backup-generator blev installeret i tilf\u00e6lde af behov for n\u00f8dstr\u00f8m. Et teater udf\u00f8rte gr\u00e5 st\u00e6r vitreoretinal procedurer under lokalbed\u00f8velse. Generelle an\u00e6stesi oftalmologiske procedurer blev udf\u00f8rt i det andet teater.<\/p>\n<p>Ud over at stille faciliteterne til r\u00e5dighed, leverede Vanguard personale og udstyr for at maksimere antallet af patienter, der ville have gavn af det.<\/p>\n<p>Teatrene blev brugt dagligt og hjalp med at reducere ventelister for tilstande som glaukom, \u00f8jenplastik, kr\u00e6ft i \u00f8jet og gr\u00e5 st\u00e6r. Covid-19 fremtvang \u00e6ndringer p\u00e5 trusten, og det oftalmiske centrum blev genbrugt. At v\u00e6re placeret v\u00e6k fra hovedhospitalet og et selvst\u00e6ndigt milj\u00f8 gjorde det ideelt til akutte operationer.
