Yn 2020, roedd hyblygrwydd Vanguard o fudd pellach i gleifion. Stopiodd Covid-19 weithdrefnau yn Solihull. Symudodd staff y GIG i Heartlands, a staff Vanguard hefyd, i mewn lle'r oedd angen. Gofynnodd BIP a chyflenwodd Vanguard ddwy theatr arall yn gyflym, pob un \u00e2 th\u00eem clinigol Vanguard o bump.
